These last couple of months the classes of Drac and Momerota have been working on wild animals and how to describe them. Our starting point was the story Monkey Puzzle, by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. After enjoying the story we went on learning some parts of the animals’ body and a couple of structures to be able to describe them. Next we started playing games to guess animals and making our own descriptions.
That’s when the project with two other schools started. Six different classes of 5 and 6 -year-olds prepared in groups a description of a wild animal. Then a video was recorded to send to the other schools for them to guess.
